As promised, it's on our way from the
Farol da Barra (the lighthouse from the last post) to the nearby beach of
Porto da Barra wich is only about ten or fifteen minutes walking.
The photo above is a view taken somewhere in the middle of the path facing towards the beautiful fort that marks the beginning of the beach called
Forte de Santa Maria (in English, Saint Mary's Fort).
As for the beach itself, starting from the fort it extends it's gold sands to the right for a few miles along with the old and beautiful stone boardwalk that accompanies it with it's decorated floor. Simply amazing!
