Here are two of the
Salvador city's most fabulous buildings, both located in the plaza named
Praça Tomé de Souza - more tourist like - the plaza where one can catch the
Lacerda's Elevator to descend downtown to the harbor area.

Above, the amazing Government Palace, huge, majestic and with an outstanding architecture, alone - it would make the view worth it. Never the less, right beside him, it's the no less spectacular building of the City Hall.

Built around the XVI century it was fully recovered for it's actual function - believe it or not, it used to be a prison...
