Located in
Passeig de Grácia and easy to reach by Metro (station Diagonal) the
Casa Milá or
La Pedrera (in English, The Quarry) is one of Barcelona's landmarks and therefore, a must see place.

Designed by the famous Catalan architect
Antoni Gaudí the building (photo above) is part of "UNESCO World Heritage Site" and is truly magnificent.

Open the public from 09:00 to 18:30 the place is definitively worthy of a visit. For instance in the rooftop (photo above), besides a fair view of the city, one should stop a while and admire the fantastic set of chimneys (or should I say sculptures).

The last image is a set of photos from the apartment on the upper level (the visitable one) whose decoration stopped in time and it's just like it was in the beginning of the twentieth century...
