When in vacations in the fabulous Mexican Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen is the place to go for a nice walk and some shopping. Bellow you can see the beach and one of the avenues where you'll find many shops, bars and restaurants.
The town is quiet and the people are very nice. Located right besides the Caribbean Sea it's very easy to get there from any one of the Hotels in the area. Simply catch one of the local mini-vans, pay the 2$ (2005 rate), and you're there - just ask the hotel staff about them, they'll help you.
