REVIEW

I had already read books 1 – 6 of the Pretty Little Lliars series when I heard about the upcoming TV show.  That was reason enough for me to convince my mom to buy book 7, Heartless, for me to read. 

One of my favorite things about this series, is that the stories are told from 4 different perspectives.  Each girl has her own unique personality and take on the situations.  This far into the series, I feel that I know them pretty well.

In addition to the mystery of Ali’s death, teen issues such as mental illness and dysfunctional families are brought up.  There really isn’t much happiness or joy to be found in Heartless.  I am hoping the next book will have at least a little something to put a smile on my face.  The ending left me feeling sad.
