It was a (rare) wintry day here in Texas, which had me feeling all kinds of festive and full of holiday cheer and whatnot; I have been a busy, busy little worker elf getting Christmas shopping done started and putting the finishing touches on the holiday decor in my home (honestly, the decorating has been my priority... Christmas shopping and holiday baking and general housework and chores have rather gone by the wayside. It's ALL about decking the halls with glittery birds and such, yo). And the funny thing is that no one ever even comes over to our house. Like, seriously. There's my mom, and um, that's about it. So basically, I'm doing this purely for my own enjoyment (and Matthew's, of course - though I doubt he really cares about the Christmas decorations all that much).
At least it will feel a little more worth my while once I share a few photos on the ol' blog. There's a few more little things I need to do before I can show you the "big picture", so to speak, but I thought I'd give a little teaser today.
And I also wanted to say a huge "THANK YOU!!!" for all the sweet birthday wishes yesterday! You guys are the best - I mean it!!! I swear, each and every time a comment comes in from one of you, I get super excited!
