Presents. And Candy. And a Guest Post.

I got some presents in the mail the other day.  Don’t you just love that?  Getting packages in the mail?

Every now and then I order something online and then wait for it eagerly, like a greedy little kid at Christmastime.  I always know exactly when I placed my order and how many days have gone by since I was notified of its shipment, and I can hardly stand the suspense as I wait for its arrival at my doorstep.  Whenever our doorbell rings and I’m expecting a delivery,  I may or may not go flying through the house at lighting speed to answer it, usually only to find a FedEx envelope for Matthew or something equally anti-climactic.

That man gets packages ALL. THE. TIME. True story: today I actually purposely left his box out on the front patio because I was so annoyed that it wasn’t the package I was expecting.  Does that make me a bad person? 

Don’t answer that.

Anyway.  Janelle Haskin mailed me a couple of fabulous hand-knit headbands from her adorable Etsy shop, along with a sweet little note and some Smarties.  You know, the candy.

Here’s a couple shots of one of the headbands.  I pretty much only take it off to bathe and sleep now.

Just kidding!  Maybe.
