From the Coast to the Mountains, Sydney, Australia

Once again back to Sachin with some more insights on Australian tourism options. From one end to the other, Sydney offers many diverse experiences!

Sydney is an amazing place to explore - with a vast array of scenery, a rich culture, and traditions evident from cultures all over the world. While coming and visiting the famous landmarks such as the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge are a must, to really get the most out of your holiday, and make it more unique and memorable than ever, it is worth taking the time to explore from the south, right through to the mountains. So book yourself a serviced apartment in Sydney with a view, hire a car and take a look around!

Opera House and Harbor Bridge, Sydney, AustraliaThe south to the east - Sydney residents are fortunate to have a home that is surrounded by beaches, national parks, city and exquisite mountain views. Entering the area from the south, you will have the opportunity to visit some of the most scenic coastal areas around. Driving from Wollongong, you pass amazing coastal rocky outlets, the serenity of the Royal National Park and take in the ocean views atop sheer cliff faces. Once you hit civilization, Sylvania Waters offers all the modern conveniences, with the tree canopy, waterways and atmosphere of a central coast area. Relax, soak it up and forget you are even near the city!

The east to the city - Driving from Sylvania, you will reach the famed Cronulla, with its boutique shops, alfresco dining and stunning beach. Further east, you will find yourself passing big waves at Maroubra, relaxed coffee shops at scenic Bronte and Coogee, and finally exploring one of the most famous beaches in the world, Bondi. Bondi offers everything you need -- culture, atmosphere and lifeguards famous for their television show! From Bondi, the CBD is just a fifteen minute drive, or a nine minutes train ride.

The city itself could take weeks to explore if you have the time - the historical Rocks precinct, China town, shopping for every budget, entertainment at Darling Harbour and the Casino, as well as a myriad of other adventures.

The city to the north
- While in Sydney, you can't forget the stunning North Sydney beaches. White sand stretching for miles, is complimented by a great beach culture and atmosphere, and people from all over the world. Why not head over the Harbour Bridge, or take a famous Sydney Ferry and explore the renowned Manly Beach area?

The north to the west - From the sun at Manly, head inland and up towards the mountains. Visit Castle Hill, one of the West's greatest shopping spots and take in the unique atmosphere of suburbs with heavy influence taken from Asian, Mediterranean and Lebanese cultures. Why not stop on an open day and explore one of Australia's biggest air force bases at Richmond, home to historically and currently used defense Aircraft? Or if relaxing is your style, a picnic by the Hawkesbury might be just what you need.

The west to the mountains - From Richmond, leave apartments in Sydney and head up the windy mountain path to the famed Katoomba and the Three Sisters rock formation. Definitely worth a stop over, take in one of the many historical bed and breakfasts, treat yourself to high tea with a view, and why not try a massage or spa treatment?
