GOODREADS SUMMARY
The most tragic love story in history . . .
Juliet Capulet didn't take her own life. She was murdered by the person she trusted most, her new husband, Romeo Montague, a sacrifice made to ensure his own immortality. But what Romeo didn't anticipate was that Juliet would be granted eternity, as well, and would become an agent for the Ambassadors of Light. For 700 years, she's fought Romeo for the souls of true lovers, struggling to preserve romantic love and the lives of the innocent. Until the day she meets someone she's forbidden to love, and Romeo, oh Romeo, will do everything in his power to destroy that love.
REVIEW
What if things played out differently for Romeo and Juliet? In this version, Romeo kills Juliet so he can gain immortality. However, the Ambassadors of Light intercede and grant Juliet immortality too. They task Juliet with uniting true lovers. Romeo’s goal, as an agent for the Ambassadors of Dark, is to keep true lovers apart. I love this setup!
Romeo and Juliet are at odds for 700 years. Neither can stand the other and they do everything to undermine each other’s efforts. Romeo is ticked off that Juliet was granted immortality. Juliet feels that Romeo betrayed her when he killed her. It’s an intriguing spin and I was surprised by this new side to Romeo.
Juliet’s new love story is bittersweet. She falls hard for Ben, who is kind, funny, and smart despite having a rough past. What I liked best about Ben was that he worked hard to gain Juliet’s favor. Here’s the thing, Ben has another girl who is his true love. Or is she? And what does our friend Romeo have to say about all of this?
Juliet Immortal made me fall in love with the story of Romeo and Juliet all over again. Stacey Jay brings a marvelous new life to a tale of forbidden love.

COVER COMMENTS
Amazing! Juliet is by the raging waters, which reminds me of her death in Romeo and Juliet. Her red dress is stunning and matches the title’s color. Speaking of the title, I like how it looks all wavy like the ocean.
