REVIEW
For me, Wolfsbane was a very different book from Nightshade. Different isn’t a bad thing, but it was a surprise and I felt a bit like I was in a different series. It seemed like I was dropped into an action movie. So. Much. Action.
The action is centered around the guardians (wolves), the keepers (bad guys), and the searchers (good guys). I guess that’s an easy way to look at them. They are inter-related and each affects the other. There is conflict up and down and back and forth amongst the three. At times I felt confused and upside down with so much action going on. I wanted it to slow down.
While I was rooting for Calla, I found myself more attached to her pack. They were the ones I really wanted to succeed. The cruel keepers really ticked me off and all I wanted was for the pack to break free of their grasp.
If you love action, then you are going to fall in love in Wolfsbane.
