Chichen Itza, Riviera Maya, Yucatan, Mexico

Back to Mexico, to the Mayan complex of Chichen Itza. Although hidden deep inside in the forest, the place is absolutely amazing. In this first photo you can see the main pyramid of this Pre-Hispanic complex - it's name - Temple of Kukulkan.
The second photo shows (to the upper left corner and to the right) a complex of buildings believed to be a set of smaller temples. In the lower left you can have an idea of the effort needed to reach the top of the main temple. Also in the lower left (in background) is the warrior's temple (in Spanish, Lo Templo de los Guerreros).
In the final photo we have the Ballcourt, which was the field were was played a game called Juego de Pelota (similar to our soccer but played with the hips instead of the feet). Also present (to the right) is one of the many stone sculptures of ancient Mayan warriors.
Tow advices when going there... Take water with you cause the place is very hot and humid and, since it's in the middle of the tropical forest, don't forget the mosquito repellent...
