Praia do Forte, Costa do Sauípe, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil

Today, two photos from the beaches north of Salvador. For miles and miles, all the way from the Praia do Forte to the Costa do Sauípe, the view is something like this...
Absolutely stunning beaches and - surprise, surprise - it's always summer in there! Although it usually rains a bit from May to August, the temperatures varies - believe it or not - from 22ºC to 33ºC degrees all year. Just imagine that they said that last year was atypically cold. With temperatures as low as 18ºC ;) it was in fact the coldest in the last fifty years...
One final note to the water's which, although very warm and comfortable (from 25ºC to 28ºC in April), can have some excess of waves specially when the tide is rising. Those who can't swim very well should use some caution.
