Placed in the north end of the Bahia State (in the frontier with the Sergipe State) are the beaches of Mangue Seco - a fabulous mixture of gold sands and luxurious vegetation.The best way to get to the peninsula is crossing the Rio Real river. To do so, just drive to the Pontal village and there take the boat directly to Mangue Seco (about 30 or 40 minutes sailing).
In Mangue Seco I would advise you to rent one of the buggys and go for a tour. Above a view from the top of the dunes to the river, and bellow...
