FIRST SENTENCE

“Bone aneeeeee!” Kendra Block trilled into the phone with gushing enthusiasm.

SUMMARY

These fives elementary girls are amazing with attitude.

Massie just has to find a new clique, and she has the wisdom to do it.

Alicia knows how to shake her thing, but can she fix her problems?

Dylan just wants to have fun, easier said than done when you’re fat.

Kristen needs to return the lost charm, and find some friends ASAP. 

Lastly, there’s Claire, who needs to sneak out to get to a party. Her dreams are waiting.

What draws them together, five charms of course.  Now they just need to find each other by the stroke of midnight.      

REVIEW

I just loved how these five stories worked.  Yes five, because each girl got to share her point of view.  All the girls had such different personalities that you could tell who was speaking. 

The plot was amazing because it was so different.  I’ve never seen 4^th graders act so old.  They seemed to be in middle school sometimes.  The story was really interesting, a hard to put down book. 

One thing I didn’t like was the lack of background info.  It jumps right into the story and keeps plowing ahead.  Still a good book though.
