If imitation is the best form of flattery, then Twilight should be feeling very flattered right about now. Vampires Suck, a parody of the Twilight movies, hit the big screen yesterday.
Here is the summary from fandango.
Becca, an angst-ridden, human teenager, is torn between two supernatural suitors: vampire Edward and werewolf Jacob. Before she can choose, Becca must find a way to evade her controlling father, who treats her like a helpless child. Meanwhile, Becca’s friends contend with their own romantic issues, leading to a collision at the prom.
Rated PG-13 for crude sexual content, comic violence, language, and teen partying.
While a Twilight screening is filled with girls in the audience, I think Vampires Suck will reel in the teen boys. They finally get their sweet revenge!
The trailer is pretty funny, but I have a feeling they are giving away all the best scenes ahead of time. I hate it when that happens! If you are a Twilight fan, does it hurt your heart to watch?
