First of all, stop judging me! I know you are! I change blogs more than some people change underwear, but that is my prerogative, damnit! Most of you people just click the link I post on Facebook anyway, so what do you care? And for those of you who have my link saved to favorites or a blogroll, I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience. Try to think of it this way: my blog is now slightly more visually appealing and less agitating to the eye, which may very well cause you less stress and fewer side effects of the stress such as insomnia, migraines, binge-eating, loss of appetite, stress-rashes (ok, maybe I'm the only one who gets those), depression, muscle tension, difficulty concentrating, and loss of interest in activities you otherwise used to enjoy. So you see, I may actually be doing you a huge favor by changing blogs. No need to thank me.
Anyway, I've been feverishly researching blog designers the past couple of weeks and found that it's more difficult and more expensive to have a WordPress blog revamped versus a Blogspot blog. So, to save myself the hassle of having to switch to a self-hosted WordPress.org blog and learn more complicated computer-y stuff and pay more money to have a professional design my blog, I decided to move back to Blogger since I had already signed up for this URL some time ago in case this very circumstance arose. So really, I'm not exactly changing blogs, just the address of my blog. The rest is still the same, except, unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to transfer all my old posts and comments from WordPress to Blogger. Sad day. However, if you're interested in revisiting the good ol' WordPress blog, please feel free to do so by clicking here.
My current template is likely temporary and is NOT a custom design, but I purchased it for only 5$ at smittenblogdesign.com and it will suffice until I settle on a reasonable designer who can make my blog perfectly "me." I'm sure the suspense will be killing you until then, but don't hold your breath because we all know my ability to make a hasty decision is... lacking.
For now, enjoy the cuteness and simplicity of the new blog, and don't forget to leave a comment in the future if you enjoy something I wrote. Comments are very special to bloggers, and you might just make someone's day with one.
Cheers!
J
