FALLEN

SUMMARY

from goodreads
There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword and Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce – and goes out of his way to make that very clear – she can’t let go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.
REVIEW
Do you ever start a book and the plot creeps along at a snail’s pace? And then you aren’t sure if you should keep reading it or not? But then you decide to keep going and it ends up having an awesome ending?
Yeah, that’s how Fallen was for me.
And did you ever read a book where the main female character is sort of a doormat? And she sort of sits there letting things happen around her without doing much to try and change them? But then it turns out that the other characters are pretty intriguing and they make up for what she’s missing?
Yeah, that’s Fallen.
And have you ever read a book where the supernatural element isn’t part of the story until the very bitter end? And you wish it had been there from the start?
Yeah, it’s Fallen again.
With that said, the male characters and the phenomenal ending made me want to read Torment. See my review tomorrow.
