HI AND WELCOME!

Thank you for stopping by Reading Vacation during Armchair BEA.  For anyone who can't get to BEA in New York, Armchair BEA is the next best thing.  If you don’t know my story, let me get you caught up.

My name is Melina and I love to read and Read and READ.  Seriously, reading is what I do.  Well, that and blog about it.  And tweet about it.  Oh, and talk to my friends about it.  You get the idea.

I started Reading Vacation last spring when I was ten.  I was still in elementary school then.  Yikes!  Things have changed, and now I am eleven and nearly finished with my first year of middle school.  Juggling blogging and school can be a challenge, but I am having fun figuring it out.

My reviews are tweenish and I have a good mix of both middle grade and young adult. I read chick lit, dystopian, fantasy, historical fiction, mystery, paranormal, and steampunk.  Just about anything, so long as it’s not scary or mature.  Boo!

I love to meet new people and that is what I am most excited about for Armchair BEA.  I hope you’ll come back to visit again and I can’t wait to see your blogs.  I will be armchairing after school.
