GOODREADS SUMMARY

A Midsummer's Nightmare? Robin Goodfellow. Puck. Summer Court prankster, King Oberon's right hand, bane of many a faery queen's existence—and secret friend to Prince Ash of the Winter Court. Until one girl's death came between them, and another girl stole both their hearts.

Now Ash has granted one favor too many and someone's come to collect, forcing the prince to a place he cannot go without Puck's help—into the heart of the Summer Court. And Puck faces the ultimate choice—betray Ash and possibly win the girl they both love, or help his former friend turned bitter enemy pull off a deception that no true faery prankster could possibly resist.

REVIEW

Puck is the fun-loving prankster of the fey. His outrageous personality and quick wit are priceless. It’s no wonder I have been a proud supporter of Team Puck since the first Iron Fey book.

In this novella, Puck gives his side of the story. He shares his deep down feelings for Meghan and Ash as well. I love knowing the truth that lies beneath all the jokes. Now I feel as though I know the real Puck, the real Robin Goodfellow.

Ash finds himself facing a trip to the Summer Court to carry out a daring caper. He turns to Puck for help. When a visit from King Oberon muddies the water, I found myself holding my breath to see which path Puck would choose.

Summer’s Crossing is holding me over until The Iron Knight releases later this year.

RATING

5 Loved

COVER COMMENTS

This green is perfect for the summer court. It makes me think of grassy meadows. Isn’t it like Puck to pull a prank with that black crow from the first Iron Fey book.
