SUMMARY

Now that Tally’s a Special everything is icy.  Though Tally learned to fear the name “special circumstances”, she now is part of it.  It’s her and her Special friends to end New Smoke for good.  But, Tally wants Zane to join the Specials.  So she has him go to New Smoke, then capture him to be brought back to her as a Special.  

 Upon arriving in New Smoke, or the city of Diego, war breaks out.  The leader of the specials, Dr.Cable has come to attack Diego! Now Zane is dead and Tally must convince Dr.Cable to halt her attack.  When all is done, Tally escapes into the wild with David, Tally’s sweetheart from the first book the Uglies.  She will protect the wild from the expanding cities with him.  

REVIEW

The shocking third book in the series the Uglies puts a new twist on everything Tally has come to know.  The new mind of Tally is the most interesting yet.  Her violent mood swings are unpredictable, very fun to watch.  Finally, the ending wasn’t sudden like the e first two books.

One thing I didn’t like were some lapses in action.  The middle was especially boring.  The action made up for it though.
