When in Barcelona, La Boqueria is a mandatory place one should visit. The market's full name is in fact Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria (in English, Saint Joseph de la Boqueria's Market) but you can easily find it by asking local folks for directions to La Boqueria (everyone knows it by that name).
Located in the middle of the Las Ramblas this market was built around 1900 with a peculiar metal roof top (which you can see above and bellow in detail) that is still there nowadays.
Inside, the market is big, extremely well organized and very colorful specially in the area of the fruit and vegetables. As you can confirm in the first photo and in the one bellow nothing seams out of place. The products almost seam to be displayed in a "special way" to assure that, all together, they make the perfect color arrangement.
It's also said to be the place where the chefs of the best Barcelona's restaurants go shopping for their products (I'm not sure if it's true but what I can tell you for sure is that La Boqueria is The place in Barcelona to go for a fresh fruit juice)!
