SUMMARY

Charlotte is a typical teen girl working at the mall as a perfume spritzer. It is an exciting time for her because she can scope out all her friends at the mall. Things turn sour when she catches her good friend Brianna's boyfriend, Bryant, with another girl. Charlotte tries to tell Brianna, but Brianna refuses to listen. So Charlotte sets out to prove that Bryant is cheating on Brianna. Her plan is to catch Bryant cheating on film.

Charlotte's first attempt is to go to a party where she knows Bryant will be. Colton, Bryant's friend, ends up distracting Charlotte from her mission. Charlotte's next attempt is to get her friend, Kelly, to spy on Bryant. This time Colton gets Charlotte to make up with Bryant but Kelly DID succeed in uncovering some information.

Finally, Charlotte dresses as a Christmas elf while helping a group of needy children. Colton is there dressed as Santa when he sees Bryant cheating on Brianna. Colton ends up filming the incident and sending the film to Brianna.

Brianna breaks up with Bryant while Charlotte ends up with.......guess who?

REVIEW

This is a pretty girlie book that was fun, light reading. You don't usually hear about "mall stories," so it was different - in a good way. I liked the change in the characters from the beginning to the end, especially Charlotte. There were quite a few changes in the way the characters interacted with each other - some for the good and some for the bad.

The ending was sort of predictable, but it was still fun to read.
