Reading Habits is a meme going around the blogosphere right now. Thanks Word for Teens! 

Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack?
Nope.  I don’t want to ruin the books.

 What is your favourite drink while reading?
None.  See above. 

Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
Nope.  I mostly read library books, but I don’t want to ruin the books I own either.

How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? Laying the book flat open?
Lay the book flat open.  I know, I know.  Bad Melina!

Fiction, non-fiction, or both?
Fiction.

Are you a person who tends to read to the end of a chapter, or can you stop anywhere?
I can stop on a letter if I need to.  But, I prefer the end of a chapter.

Are you the type of person to throw a book across the room or on the floor if the author irritates you?
Uh, nope. 

If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop and look it up right away?
I can usually figure it out.

What are you currently reading?
The Gypsy Game. 

What is the last book you bought?
The Host

Are you the type of person that reads one book at a time, or can you read more than one?
I usually juggle.  One in my bedroom, two in the reading room, and sometimes one in my backpack. 

Do you have a favourite time/place to read?
Anytime.  Anywhere.  I have made myself carsick reading in the back seat.  I even read at my little brother’s karate class. 

Do you prefer series books or stand alones?
Series. 

Is there a specific book or author you find yourself recommending over and over?
Twilight, Lighting Thief

How do you organize your books? (by genre, title, author's last name, etc.)
I put them on my bookshelf so they look pretty.  Seriously, so the colors and size look nice.
