The thrill of The Iron King continues on in The Iron Daughter. It’s all in there – action, danger, faeries, and a love triangle. Oh, and did I mention the amazing writing? Just take a look at the first sentence above to get a feel for how well Julie describes the scenes and characters.
Meghan is torn as she must choose between Ash and Puck. I felt so bad for her as she struggled to make her decision. The conflict between these three is a key part of the story and it adds to the overall tension. It was nice to see that Meghan did not lose her feisty personality.
One of the best things about this series is that it seems so real. The scenes are written so that they jump right off the pages and come to life. Don’t you love it when that happens?
The ending was a surprise to me and I will not ruin it for you. I will say that now I am totally excited to read the next book.
