REVIEW

This book is amazing!  If you even sort of like faery stories, then this is a must read for you.  Even though I found Spell Hunter in the middle grade section of my library, I think it would fit in just fine in the young adult section too.

What a unique concept – fairies that have lost their magical powers teaming up with a human to save their society.  Knife is one of those characters who really draws you in as you feel her struggle to find her way.  She is very brave as she forms a special friendship with Paul, a human. 

The story line had me hook, line, and sinker.

The beginning of the book includes a lot of background to set the scene, and then the action starts.  I could not put this one down!  The ending was a little confusing to me, so I hope the sequel will explain exactly what happened a bit more.  Oh, that’s right, the sequel is coming out on June 22.  It is called Wayfarer.  You can bet I’m going to be reading it.  I hope you will too.
