SUMMARY
From goodreads
Meghan Chase used to be an ordinary girl...until she discovered that she is really a faery princess. After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Meghan has one request: that they visit Puck--Meghan's best friend and servant of her father, King Oberon--who was gravely injured defending Meghan from the Iron Fey.
Yet Meghan and Ash's detour does not go unnoticed. They have caught the attention of an ancient, powerful hunter--a foe that even Ash may not be able to defeat....

REVIEW
This amazing mini-book fills in the gap between The Iron King and The Iron Daughter. As Meghan and Ash make their journey to the Winter Court, their relationship is put to the test. Ash wonders if he, a Winter Prince, has any hope of winning the heart of a Summer Princess like Meghan. Their relationship is very complicated and I can’t wait to see where it goes next.
Julie Kagawa does a great job of describing the Nevernever. I felt that I could really picture every scene. It takes a very talented author to do this so well.
I was happy that Grimlakin the cat paid a visit and I liked that there were a few surprises too. Now, I wonder if Puck will recover and play a larger role in the next book.
