One of our days in Buenos Aires we spent on a Tigre River tour, which was a fabulous opportunity for me to bust out my 75-300 mm lens and play paparazzi.
Also, this was the first day I experienced a “restroom attendant” whom patrons had to tip if they wanted the TP and paper towels she was doling out (very sparingly, I might add). Since I’m kind of slow, it took me until I was almost at the front of the line to realize what she was doing there and that I had no pesos, at which point I announced loudly that “I HAVE NO PESOS!” and the nice lady behind me paid for my toilet paper.
Just a thought, but what happens if you have to go #2? Do you say, “umm, the whole roll, por favor,” and slip her a twenty?
I love America.
Anyway, here are a few of my favorite shots from the day!
Look closely… you can see the city of Buenos Aires in the background of this next pic!
We ate at this fun restaurant called Gato Blanco (aka White Cat)…
Then we went to a fun little colorful marketplace…
Next stop, Lima, Peru!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
