Saturday Sneak Peek

I’ve been assembling my new office little by little over the past few weeks, and though it still needs a lot of work before I can show you the big picture, I couldn’t help but snap a few photos of what I have so far!

This is fast becoming my favorite room in the house—a place where I could hole up for days and be surrounded by an eclectic little assortment of all my favorite things.

Old books, maps, and sheets of music. Botanical prints and their descriptions. A shadow box stuffed with fabulous antique finds and treasures from my rock-hunting adventures at the ranch. My computer. A bed. Sunshine pouring in from a perfectly placed window. There’s even a bathroom just steps away.

Why leave?

Oh, maybe cause I can actually FEEL my ass expanding in the chair beneath me.
