This Lullaby is a flirty and lighthearted romance. It reminds me of one of those girlie movies where the girl falls in love with a boy who is her opposite, and you find yourself rooting for them to make it work, and then you get all teary eyed when they kiss. Yeah, it’s kind of like that.
Remy is the girl who has a jaded view of love because of her mother’s many failed marriages. Who can blame Remy for being cautious when it comes to boys? Ah, but Dexter is probably the most persistent boy I’ve ever encountered. He is a little kooky and he has an easy confidence about him. Dexter is exactly what Remy needs!
This newly minted Sarah Dessen fan wants more!

I love the simplicity. Remy is holding a paper heart that refers to the lullaby her father wrote for her when she was a baby. The blurry background works!
