Greetings and happy Friday! :) You know, it was the strangest thing… this morning I woke up at 6:30, without an alarm, wide awake and with poetry tumbling around in my mind. I think I’d been dreaming all night, and my subconscious wanted me awake, and to write it all down. So I did, and I’ve had a pleasant morning here, admiring the lights on my tree and reading all of your wonderful blogs. Life is good.
In a bit, I’m going over to my mom’s to make gingerbread cookies and snowball cookies and sugar cookies, then this afternoon headed to the airport to pick up my husband. He had to fly out to California just a couple days after finishing up his finals, and now, this afternoon, our break and our holiday and our time together will really begin. I could not be happier today. <3
