Best of Instagram, Week 2

Is it weird that I’ve been looking forward to this post all week?  I really enjoy looking back on my Instagram shots of the past seven days and compiling them here… I guess because they consist of some of my favorite little moments!

It was a good week for materialism.  Not gonna lie.  I bought myself a shmancy purse, something I never do, and on Wednesday I received a certain pair of red rain boots I’ve been wanting for MONTHS UPON MONTHS but had convinced myself were frivolous. Once my birthday and Christmas rendered me a tad bit of discretionary income, down came the defenses, and out came the debit card. 

Best decision of my life.

1. Choir of angels singing. (Red Hunters are hard to come by in stores, but they can still be found here, with FREE shipping!)
2. Whoever said the best things in life are not things was on crack. (I kid, I kid)

3. Of course, no rain in sight on the forecast.  I shall wear them anyway, and without shame.
4. The ever-popular in-car cell phone pic.

5. A little something special with Matthew’s afternoon coffee.
6. My favorite place in the house (sans bubbles since my skin is STILL freaking out).

7. Sauteed chicken breast with topping made of tomato, avocado, fresh basil, minced garlic, EVOO, and a squeeze of lemon juice.  Heaven in your mouth.
8. Minestrone soup and bread with butter.  Don’t be fooled—the soup is straight from a can.

9. Cooper—DONOTTAKEMYKONGIWILLBITEYOU.
10. Gracie—Hey mom what’s up. (love that sweet face.)

11. Dust bag.
12. New purse—love at first sight. (similar here.) Guys, I’ve always taken pride in the fact that I don’t buy expensive designer purses, but Kate Spade threatens to change that once and for all.  I. am. obsessed.  Luckily this one was a big time deal at the outlet store, though!  But I fear I am like an animal that has had it’s first taste of blood… it’s a slippery slope, y’all.  I better get that photography business up and running. ;)
