The City of Light , Paris, France

Built in both margins of the river Seine the beautiful Paris, also know as the City of Light, has much to offer to their visitors. In the city itself it's mandatory to visit both the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Sacré-Ceur Basilica, two of the most beautiful churches in town (bellow the Sacré-Ceur Basilica).

The exquisite food recipes one can enjoy at the restaurants of the Quartier Latin (the Latin neighborhood of the city) are a must-taste and if you drive you can use one of the car rentals in France and easily get to the absolutely fabulous Versailles Palace.

Of course noone can't leave Paris before seeing and walking at least once all around the World famous Eiffel Tower. In fact, since the light effects they have installed in the Tower are truly worthy to be seen, going all around the tower twice is ideal - one lap by day and one lap by night :)

One final note to Paris' Museums: if you have the time the outstanding collections of the Louvre are for you, if not, try the D'Orsay Museum. They have there a fabulous impressionism gallery one can fairly visit in no more than an afternoon.

P.S.: The Louvre is so spectacular in so many ways that I wouldn't advise anything less than two whole days :)

As usual one last line to thanks this post's photos to Jean Christophe from Wikimedia and also to Open Galleries.
