I thought that meant I was off the hook, and could go off on my own again - while still touching base with Riley, of course. He's the one upper I think I can trust. But then we learned that there's outside and then there is Outside. And something from Outside wants In.

REVIEW

The Inside is in chaos since Trella led the scrubs in rebellion against the uppers. A Committee made up of scrubs and uppers is in place, but there is much disarray and another rebellion may break out. The scrubs are looking for Trella to continue on as their leader. Unfortunately, the spunk and defiance that once defined Trella has been replaced by distrust and hesitance.

The shift in Trella’s demeanor was understandable. It was hard to separate allies from enemies and Trella did not know who she could trust. I really enjoyed being along for the ride as the intricacies of the character relationships and their motives were laid out. So many things are not as they originally seem.

Trella’s relationship with Riley is a little up-and-down. Riley can be a bit overprotective and sometimes he doesn’t understand that Trella is torn by the decisions she must face. I think perhaps he feels a little overshadowed by Trella’s role. Maybe.

Adding to the uncertainty, there is something or someone on the Outside that wants to be Inside. This was something I did not see coming – at all. Will this threat be the spark Trella needs to step up and take control? Will unexpected revelations be a game-changer for Trella? Read Outside In to find out.

Trella and Riley in a pipe! I love the blue with a light far off in the tunnel. And isn’t the title great the way Outside is actually inside the In?
